(they/them)

founded ComradeLion as the culmination of a career dedicated to making work easy. From factory production lines to call center floors, they’ve found that every workplace has its own share of janky spreadsheets, outdated systems, and arcane processes that require a dozen steps, half of which have no apparent purpose. This work began as advocacy for technical upgrades that would improve employee experiences, and developed into a broad set of technical skills that would allow them to bring these solutions to life.

ComradeLion

was founded to bring high-tech support to small and medium businesses. My work is centered on 3 core beliefs, informed by extensive experience mediating between back end and front line processes.

Work smarter, not harder.

Tempting as it may be to consider long hours and short weekends as a virtue, all too often many of these hours are dedicated to tasks that could be done more quickly and effectively with the use of technology or by redesigning processes to eliminate unnecessary steps. Identifying and streamlining time sinks gives people more time to take care of themselves and their communities, and to grow their business.

Analyze the workflow, not just the task.

A task that takes a long time in isolation can be tedious but even worse are large scale, multi-step workflows filled with redundant or pointless steps. I do more than automate tasks; I examine a workflow from beginning to end, identify the necessary inputs and outputs, and redesign the process to minimize complexity from start to finish.

People know their own work best.

I am not the expert in your work; you are. My methods are built upon an understanding that I am not an expert in everything you do, and I strive to understand workflows from the perspective of those who actually have to follow the steps day in and day out. I’m here to create tailored, accessible, and intuitive solutions that save time and effort.
